Driving from Bend
- 1 From downtown Bend, head west on US-20 toward Sisters for 9.2 miles.
- 2 At milepost 118, turn right onto Tumalo Market Road — the gas station on the corner is your last fuel for 30 miles.
- 3 Drive 3.1 miles, then turn left onto Deschutes River Road at the brown campground sign.
- 4 Follow the river road 2.2 miles. Our entrance is on the right: a red cinder drive past a cattle guard. Check in at the office.
GPS heads-up: phone maps sometimes route you over Awbrey Butte to save four minutes. Don’t — that road crosses private land and dead-ends at a locked gate. Tumalo Market Road is the way.
